The gold-covered Sri Lakshmi Narayani temple at Sripuram near Vellore was consecrated on 24 August 2007.

The Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple at Sripuram, on the southern edge of Vellore, was built by the Sri Narayani Peedam. Its Maha Kumbhabhishekam, or consecration, was held on 24 August 2007. The temple, covered in gold, is dedicated to the goddess Lakshmi. It quickly became one of the most visited sites in Vellore district.
