The new DMK government set up a department to resolve within 100 days the petitions Stalin had collected during his election campaign.

During the 2021 election campaign M. K. Stalin collected petitions from the public under 'Ungal Thoguthiyil Stalin' (Stalin in your constituency) and promised to resolve them within 100 days of taking office. After the DMK won, the government created a separate department, Ungal Thoguthiyil Muthalamaichar (Chief Minister in your constituency), with digital support from the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency. About 4.2 lakh petitions were sorted and sent to districts for action. By the end of the first 100 days, more than 2.87 lakh of 4.75 lakh complaints had been addressed, according to the government.
