Naan Mudhalvan, a state scheme offering students skills training and career guidance, set out to reach about 10 lakh young people annually.

On 1 March 2022 Chief Minister M. K. Stalin launched the 'Naan Mudhalvan' scheme along with its own portal. Its goal is to give around 10 lakh of the state's youth job skills every year. Students at government and state-aided institutions are identified and trained and receive academic and career guidance, with offerings that include spoken English, coding and robotics. The programme grew into a flagship effort of the government in higher education and employability.
